Cos-Play Costumes

In honor of Comic Con right in our home town...
We know, you want to get your cosplay look right?
We love costume design and being true to the character and not creating a "costume" per say but their fashion that they really wear...right !
 
With that said this class is for young designers that have machine sewing experience. They need to be proficient on the sewing machine to be ready for this class.
If this is exactly what your child is looking for; but they have no sewing experience. Have them start with an apparel sewing camp then move to this camp. I promise it will pay off and make the experience of making their costume more fun if they already understand sewing on a machine prior to their first big CosPlay piece.
 
In this class we are not focusing on teaching sewing, we are focusing on patterning and how to create something from the ground up with no established pattern to work from.
Some items may not be sewn but built out of EVA foam or any creative material that will give us the right look.
 
Due to the specialized nature of this class we do not supply any of the materials. The class fee is for instruction, sewing machine and tools while in class, but all the materials will need to be provided by the young designer and they will need to bring them to class. We will try to help guide them on where to find what they need as best we can.
 
Also due to the specialized nature of this class, some designers will need 2 weeks to complete their look, we do not know how ambitious their cosplay is or their skill level so we can not guarantee a week will complete the project. For a complete costume consider signing up for 2 weeks time slots.
