8/03-8/07 Sewing for Beginners

Fiveloaves Twofish Sewing and Design for young beginners
This class is designed for our young designers that have never sewn on a machine before. It is a great class for those who want to learn to sew. 
We invite our young wishful designers to come and learn to sew with us alongside our design team.
Sewing & Design for young beginners is a class that will get our youngest designers on the machine having fun and not so frustrated. Sewing takes time and patience. These are skills built over time and it is important to start with projects that are not too difficult so they enjoy making and grow a deep hunger to create more. 
Think of learning to sew like learning an instrument, It takes time and focus that is built over time with the more you sew. For our youngest designers we will start them on fun and rewarding projects that get them sewing on a machine and feeling the success of making something to be proud of.
In beginning sewing we may sew any of these items depending on our mix of kids:
Pillow cases
Tote Bags
Pouches
Purses
Simple tops
Scunchies
and so much more fun...
As the class is learning and growing we will fit the projects to our young designers and their interests 
For our summer camp all materials are included.
Our classes are developed by our lead designer with a BFA in Fashion design from FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology New York). The class is a small class of 4. Sewing needs to be done in small groups to learn well and become proficient.
 
We offer a morning session 9am-12pm or an afternoon session 1:00-4:00pm
Classes are typically 4  max per class for the youngest level.
Classes are designed by age and level.
There are no make up lessons or cancellations.
If you are interested and our date and time is not right, please feel free to message and request a day and time. We do require a minimum of 4 students to open a class.
